No. The gateway uses the native XML-RPC that comes with every Odoo installation. No addons, modules, or extra configuration needed.
Odoo 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and future versions. The gateway works with any version that has XML-RPC enabled (all of them).
Only if you explicitly allow it. By default, all access is read-only. Write operations require opt-in per model and per API key.
Yes. ChatGPT uses REST/OpenAPI and Claude uses MCP (Model Context Protocol). The same gateway supports both with the same permissions and audit.
No. The gateway is a proxy: data passes through it but is not stored. Only audit logs (metadata) are retained according to your plan.
Yes. The Enterprise plan includes a self-hosting option. For other plans, the gateway runs on KMEE managed infrastructure.
No. The gateway talks to your Odoo through native XML-RPC (nothing is installed on the ERP) and exposes AI through open standards like MCP. If you leave, your Odoo stays exactly as it is. On the Enterprise plan, you can also self-host the gateway on your own infrastructure.
